I notice the TV is available for around £20 a month for the 55' what's is the package price on top, or is it built into the £20 a month? Thanks

Re: Package cost
Hi @Dave19631
No you need to pay for your package on top of your Glass repayment. You can build your package on Sky.com and this will indicate the cost.

Please bear in mind that the £19pm is the payment just for the TV itself. The cost of the streaming TV subscription adds at least another £28pm (at current rates) to this, for the basic Entertainment and Netflix (with ads) package.
The £19pm for the TV will mean you are paying this amount every month for four years until it is fully paid off. The current Sky Glass hardware is already 3 years old so is not exactly at the cutting edge of technology or value for money. It comes with a 2 year warranty. If the TV were to suffer a fault after that 2 year period, you would need to pay for a repair or replacement whilst still paying off the remainder of what you owe for the total cost of the TV, whether it's working or not.
You can pay an additional fee for Sky Protect insurance which will cover you for longer, or there's always the possibility of buying a smart TV from a retailer such as John Lewis or Richer Sounds who provide free 5 or 6 year warranties with every TV they sell. You could then add a Sky Stream puck to this smart TV for much more flexibility and peace of mind.

Re: Package cost
Certainly worth looking at what £900 buys on the current television market (particularly in a 2023 model) for use with a Stream puck unless you really need the finance terms.

Re: Package cost
Basic sky package for the tv is £26.00 month, does not include sports, films or disney +, a puck will cost you £40.00 out right, but if or when you cancel your sky subscription the puck at the moment has to be returned to sky as you don't own it you will need a good broadband speed to

More typically £29.95, or £20, or even 'free', with the initial content subscription depending on the current promotion: a high fixed set-up cost is a disincentive for new customers.
Subsequent pucks are more, apart possibly from the first added with Whole Home.
