My daughter has given me a new sky glass tv but I don't have sky myself. Can I remove the sky connection? I only wanted a tv to use my firestick on and I don't want to use sky or get my daughter into trouble

@HWill You can't remove it (by that I mean Sky). Really your daughter should have carried out a factory reset before giving it to you.
You could do this by going into Settings, System Management, then following the on screen instructions when it reboots. It will take a few minutes to do this.
Once its rebooted you shouldn't be able to view any Sky channels but can view the apps like Netflix etc.

@HWill If your don't have a subscription then you don't have to do anything. You won't be able to view any of the Sky channels.

But it's coming up with my daughters viewing history.. I just want to remove it from my tv ?

It's asking me to reset but telling me it Wilson all account info and customised settings... will this just be on this tv? Or on my daughters sky account?

@HWill It just removes her details from the TV and removes the Glass from her Sky account. It doesn't affect her Sky viewing.
