Are you wishing to use your Denon for audio or is it just for watching BluRay discs?

Your Denon is probably too old and uses an older standard of HDMI 1.4 so may not be recognised with an ARC connection.

Do you have it connected to HDMI port 2 on your Glass TV?

15 years old, so certainly vintage.

How are you trying to wire this up?  Devices like this are supposed to output from disk to their own speaker set, not output audio from disk back to the television.

You have a lovely bit of kit that was very well regarded...I assume you are trying to use it primarilly as a blu ray player.

Sky TV has had a number of problems connecting with older players and yet HDMI 1.4 is supposed to be compatable with much newer versions...just do a search for "why doesnt a new sky television accept a signal from a hdmi 1.4 blu ray" and that will pull up answers which may solve your problem🤞.
