My sky glass tv has purple lines running down the screen also faint vertical lines to, which are worse when watching sports channels. Spoke to sky and the sky glass tv warranty has run out so no longer covered and I would have to pay £485 for a refurbished replacement tv and still pay my existing credit for my sky glass which is over £300. Sky have admitted that there is a fault with my tv, but are unable to help me. Legally under the Consumers Rights Act of 2015 they have to replace or refund me for the tv as it’s not fit for purpose. Also they give you 3 years credit to buy the sky glass but the warranty runs out after 2 years. Do not buy this sky glass tv it’s not fit for purpose but sky are making a lot of money out of their customers, it’s a complete con. Do not buy.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ChristttttttttI had a very similar issue with my Glass TV which had a 3 inch wide dark grey line running vertically down the screen. A normal reboot didn't help so I left the TV unplugged overnight and the line disappeared and luckily it never came back. It's worth a try 🤞

A credit term has no relation to the warranty period of course, many people pay long term credit on electrical goods especially with a two year warranty and unless extended warranty is taken then that's it. Do you have any insurance maybe with your bank account for repairs to home goods.
You can try a reboot to see if the lines go but it sounds pretty much like a panel issue and sadly it's just not worth throwing more money into it.
