My sky glass remote has stopped working completely. Batteries replaced.
My sky glass remote has lost all power. Batteries replaced. The TV switches on with my virgin box remote but that's it, I can not change the input signal to watch TV.

Is the back light of the remote working? If not try twisting the remote very gently like you were wringing out a dishcloth. If the remote is lighting up, try the following troubleshooting steps. If it's still not working after trying those steps you can ask for a replacement by filling out this online form: https://www.sky.com/help/forms/streaming-tv-remote or speaking to Sky customer services. (We are fellow subscribers on the forum).

Thank you I have tried this also, also the TV voice control. Nothing seems to work. I have requested a new remote, but sky cannot help in any other way. I feel offering an app for the phone should be an option in this situation, as I am left without a functioning TV until this remote arrives.

You can use voice commands for the basics, changing channels etc. if you were a Sky Q customer, your Q remote can be paired in the meantime.
