We have a captive network that requires devices to be registered by MAC address before they are allowed to connect to the wifi. So far for all my other devices this has been easy. However I cannot find out how to locate the MAC address online, or anywhere!! It is not printed on the box labels or indeed on the TV itself. Can anyone help??

The MAC address can found in the settings menu, it lists the wireless and wired Mac address. The issue is, you can't access this until set up has been completed. Is your ethernet ports restricted? If not you could set up on ethernet, or connect via a mobile hotspot, to get you though the initial setup so you can access the menu and then then reset the network, in the network menu and join to your WiFi.

I suspect Glass just wasn't designed in anticipation of that kind of network restriction, which would typically be found in locations where an individual domestic Sky subscription isn't applicable.

I am having the same issue right now, did you manage to fix it?

Yes I used an ethernet cable to connect to the network router. The mobile hotspot option didn't work for me.
good Luck

I tried connecting through mobile hot spot as my WiFi provider (WIFINITY) suggested however that has failed to work as well (probably as my connect is terrible) i tried through ethnet cable as well to find the mac address however due to it being shielded I can't do this seems the only way is to have a WiFi provider that's normal or maybe to have good mobile data

As your Community name and having Wifinity as a supplier suggests you are on a particular kind of managed network location, I'm afraid that Glass/Stream might well not be suitable.
