Find out more@Phill227 Unfortunately I can't see your attachment until it is approved by a moderator but I do know you will need to contact Sky Customer Service as you will not receive any response from this public forum which is mainly comprised of customers like yourself.
I know from personal experience that the returns process is not very good but my issue was resolved by speaking to them.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI changed from Sky Q to Glass/Stream and In the messages section of My Sky I have four messages saying "thank you for returning "our" sky kit it's with the courier and then a 6 day later message says Important send your Sky Kit back or you will be charged by the 7th Feb. I guess thay are keeping the £76 credit on my Sky Q account until they are sure they have the kit back. I'm expecting to have to call up to sort it out for having the audacity to change my subscription.
I'm not asking for help at this time just an observation of my experience of the "process".

@trevforum that will be because Unipart are absolutely awful and don't seem to process the returns correctly. I believe the "thank you for returning our kit" email is auto triggered when Royal Mail scan the return label but ultimately unless Unipart process the order properly and inform Sky they have received the equipment back Sky won't have a clue so the account stays marked as "awaiting equipment return".
This is the reason there are lots od posts on here about asking people in the same situation if they have retained the tracking number, as the Sky Customer Services Teams can you this to verify that the package was signed and received by Unipart and then they update the account accordingly.
I returned by Broadband hub back 2 months ago and so far haven't been chased for not sending it back so perhaps i'm one of the lucky ones whose return actually got processed correctly. Although i'm still keeping my Post Office receipt with the tracking number for a few more months just in case 😀

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@MarkGoldsmith I'm not so sure that an e-mails are sent when the post office scans the barcode.
Like you I returned an old router in August after upgrading to FTTP I used the box the new router arrived in and used the returns label that was inside the box and i've heard nothing at all from Sky. Not 1 e-mail 🤣
I have got into the habit of taking pictures of any proof of postage so even if the original receipt is lost I have a digital copy
