Try powering the TV off at the mains for 10 minutes and turning it on again. Sometimes lines down the panel are caused by a software glitch.
If your remote doesn't start to work after this, try the troubleshooting as outlined here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/remote-control-help-sky-glass
If the issues still persist, you will need to speak to Sky as we are fellow subscribers here on the forum.
