HDMI Pink Cable
Can anyone tell me if I can use any HDMI cable in the back of my Sky box or does it have to be pink which is the one that is damaged?

Re: HDMI Pink Cable
@Meady1965 You do not need to use the HDMI supplied by Sky any HDMI will work just fine.

Re: HDMI Pink Cable
Thank you, but I just tried a cable with two black ends and Sky isn't coming up on my tv. The icon that normally says Sky on the tv now says Unknown and when I click on it it says no signal.

Re: HDMI Pink Cable
Anyone should work but a really cheap older one may struggle

Re: HDMI Pink Cable
For UHD, a 'high speed' (2.0) HDMI cable of under three metres in length is required. If you wish you could purchase a cable built to the 2.1 standard, but it's not necessary to pay more than about £10.
