Hello. I purchased a Glass TV and my child chucked a toy at it and broke the screen. I understand that I have to pay in full for a new TV but I am unable to do this. Can I end the contract and pay partly for the old TV that is broke and just order a new one?

Unfortunately not - the credit agreement you would have signed to pay for the TV itself transfers the ownership of the TV to you immediately therefore you are responsible for paying off the remainder of the credit agreement regardless of if you have accidentally damaged the TV.
Hopefully you have accidental damage coverage on your home insurance, which covers for situations exactly like this where an accident has caused expensive damage to your possessions in your home.

Re: Glass tv broke but want a new one.
I don't have that. I was gonna get it but as it got damaged before they said nothing can be done and I'll just have to pay the £500 upfront. Which I can't do due to having young kids. Is there anything else you can think of that I can do?

Re: Glass tv broke but want a new one.
As mentioned above, only a household content insurance policy would help you here.
Perhaps a lesson learnt for the future, it's a worthwhile and probably essential insurance policy to have.
Screen repairs on a Glass TV are not possible.
Even if you were to sell the Sky Glass TV on an auction site or something similar, it would probably only be for some spare parts and fetch around the £20-30 mark at best.
Afraid you will have to keep paying the credit agreement on the broken TV or pay the remainder off in full.
Plus you will need to purchase a new TV from Sky or elsewhere.
Have you contacted Sky at all, not sure they will say anything more than mentioned here, but you never know.

Yeah that's what I was saying. Could I pay for another tv and pay my other glass tv off? Lol.

Yes, you can have three credit agreements on a Sky account, if accepted.
Yes, you can pay off your broken TV Sky Glass agreement early.
More on those are described in this Sky help article;

Re: Glass tv broke but want a new one.
@ASK3 a couple of other suggestions
1. See if you can find a second hand Glass. Usually plenty on the likes of eBay but you will usually have to collect yourself.
2. Buy accidental insurance on home insurance before bringing another TV into your house.... Been there and got T-shirts re kids breaking stuff
3. Look at a cheap TV in soon coming Black Friday sales and/or look on Amazon eBay. Doesn't deal with how you get Sky programs
