Favourites box keeps popping up when i press the OK key

so everytime i press the OK button the favourites box appears and will not go away until i press the back button.

Well this is annoying when in Netflix or Disney as it knock me out of the app

Why has this suddenly started to appear>

I have the sky glass TV but i use sky multie room to watch sky as i did not like how i could not have my usual box still as the glass tv is in my bedroom not my main tv a little annoying really but i did like the tv.

@fifiuk03  Welcome to the forum.  It sounds as though your remote has developed a fault.  There have been many posts on the forum where remotes are giving incorrect commands.

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth.  Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including mine on two occasions).

If none of the above help then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote 

If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.

I spoke to someone from sky today about the same thing and the guy seemed perplexed - then put the phone down and never phoned me back.

Hi @Jdevall  Welcome to the forum.  This is a fairly common complaint and is a sign that your remote is faulty. Have you tried the help guides and suggestions in the post above?  If so and you are still having problems request a replacement remote at the following link

Thanks I have put a request in for a new remote. The guy at sky said he hadn't heard of this before.

The new remote did not work, if you press the fast forward button though the box goes away for a while
