Favourite Channels

How can I turn off this new favourite view?

I like to flick through the channels and see what's on, for example I go to 101 for BBC1 and then if I press up on the remote I want to go to BBC2 not the next favourite channel.

Even when I'm on the Home Screen there's a real of live channels, I don't want to only see my most watched channels here, I want to see 101, 102, 103, etc.

Am I alone in this view?

can I change it back to how it was before?

Thanks.

I like the favourites and use them as my main way of moving through the channels.

Seems you do not like the option.

As mentioned above, delete all the set favourites

Bur also, make sure the refresh option is turned off.

Go to  to settings>manage favourite channels and turn off the refresh button.

If left on, that refresh button will keep adding most used channels to your favourites, even if you have not set any favourites.

Hi @Derang I have nothing in my favourites rail and it never shows up so I suspect if you delete any items in your favourites you should no longer be taken to the favourites option.

Re: Favourite Channels

Thought that had worked, but it just keeps coming back even with no favourites selected.

It might suit people to only see their favourite channels but it doesn't work for me, to be fair I don't watch a lot of live tv but when I do I want to see everything easily not just those channels that I might have watched most in the past.

Re: Favourite Channels

This is the view in Home Screen it's the tv guide rail.  Seems to be if I select a channel from this rail then it goes into favourite mode but if I physically type 101 then it seems to work fine.

i guess I'll just learn to live with it, not a major thing but annoying that it's changed.

rant over, I'll go and get on with my life now 🤣

Re: Favourite Channels

Yeah that seems to have done the trick, sure I tried that already but seems to be working now 🙂 Thanks
