Discussion topic: Do you need to buy the Dolby sound bar on the tv

Looking at getting the gen 2. On the bill says you need to pay extra for the Dolby atmos. Do you need this?

The speakers are included in the hardware cost: it's Dolby Atmos functionality on Sky content which requires the subscription supplement.

So I don't need to pay extra for these then. Or is it worth the extra money

It's a personal choice. I'm not blown away by Dolby Atmos and can happily live without it

Others will have a different perspective
