Discovery+ AD Skipping

I watched Discovery+ this afternoon the app bumper was Discovery+ | Sky and had the AD Skipping feature. I've not seen this previously and always had ads. Is this new?

Confused a bit from your post.

 

Not aware any content within the Discovery+ app is skippable using the Sky Stream/Glass ad skipping pack.

 

But, Discovery channel content sourced within Sky  On demand, that plays out using Sky Stream/Glass (not via the Discovery + app), does offer the Skip ads button.
