Cannot get passed ‘checking status’

I've had Sky Glass TV for over two years with no issues. My BB provider (3) recently sent me a new router and so I had to change the WiFi over accordingly. Everything else in the house works fine. However with the Glass I cannot get beyond the 'checking status' message. I have followed the tips on the Sky website to no avail. Help!

Couple of things to try 

 

- have you used the reset network setting?

- can you temporarily run an Ethernet cable from the tv to the router - it should allow you to get into the settings and resets the wifi
