Black Screen Sky Glass

My Sky Glass TV stopped presenting a picture and just now have a black screen. The power light is still on and I've tried all the reset recommendations, including connecting an ethernet cable from the router to the TV, but still no luck.

 

I've had the TV 2.5 years, but warranty was only for 2 years. Has anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it? Or has any recommendations? Thank you

There have been several reports on these forums of Glass TVs failing soon after the 2 year warranty expires.

When spending hundreds of pounds on a TV (the first of its type from a first time TV manufacurer) I would have advised to pay extra for an extended warranty via Sky Protect. 

There's not really a lot you can do other than try contacting ServiceTech who are Sky's appointed Glass repair service:

Any repair, if indeed possible, would be at your own expense though. 

Others who have had Glass fail on them after 2 years have been told by Sky that they can purchase a replacement TV, potentially at a discount, but you'd need to speak to them.
