Hi there, my sky bill is due to be taken out today from direct debit, but hasn't been taken yet? Is there a backlog with it being the new year?

If you check your Sky account, it may already show your current bill as being paid, which will confirm that it's about to be taken from your bank account. Don't make a manual payment unless Sky ask you to.
