BBC YORKSHIRE not on Sky Glass

At 7:00 could not watch BBC Yorkshire, rebooted and same message appeared, "Please wait for programme to load"

 

News bulletins on ITV & Sky were on.  Sky news then disappeared & messages on different news channels showed that there were Technical Issues.

 

News also showed that Microsoft IT problems have affected airlines & banks and some TV channels.

 

Has BBC Yorkshire on Glass been affected by the Microsoft software issues?

@benwho  Due to the Microsoft outage a lot of BBC 1 regions have been affected 

  • BBC 1 Variants down Yorkshire, Yorkshire and Lincs, East Midlands South, Channel Island (UK Only), London/South

Yes - some channels on the streaming platform are affected by the reported Microsoft issues.

@Happyglass9  It's also possible that the local news studio had coincidental issues, normally in those cases you would get a neighbouring region instead until the issue is resolved by the BBC.

My bbc Yorkshire not working but some other bbc channels are, bbc scotland is. Will just have to wait for my own news
