Attempt to Link Sky Glass tv to new account

I have opened a new Sky account, we already have a Sky glass tv on an old account in my Wife's name and have approximately 8 payments left. We had the installation done 09/05/2025 it is now 16/05/2025, still unable to watch Sky tv.

We have contacted Sky on multiple occasions explaining the situation, when we come to link the tv to the account, we get a 6 digit code to enter at Sky.com/activate

We have reset the tv totally as per Sky instructions to no avail, our issue was sent to the back office who do not converse with customers so it took nearly a week to get a resolution that didn't work. We have already been billed for tv package already and will be billed on the 24th May for the broadband.

we attempted to get round the issue by plugging in the puck we were sent on 2 tv's and both times within 30 minutes the puck froze the t v's. Sky say that there is nothing wrong with the puck, it gets very hot underneath to touch and we think that this is an issue that could potentially cause a fire? so basically we have a sky glass tv that we can only watch terrestrial programmes on, a sky puck that doesn't work.
if anyone has had this issue and found a way round it, I would appreciate your advice. My account only has the puck as Sky say they cannot link our glass from my wife's old account to my new account, no reason given for this.

@JagandJet I'm afraid there's nothing we can do. We are just customers like you. All you can do is speak to Sky and hope you get a member of staff who can help. If you're not happy then you could consider raising a complaint via the link in the footer to this forum. Sorry.

We are awaiting yet another callback, but we won't be holding our breath. All channels have been exhausted and so am I! But thank you for your input.
