Advice on tv bracket

Need to put my sky glass onto a tilt bracket that comes out of the wall as don't have a flat wall to mount onto. Does anyone have recommendations of brand or model for the 55 inch please?!

Hi @Jaxywoo

I haven't got a recommendation, but believe the mounting points on Glass are standard VESA spacing.

The important thing is to ensure the mount is rated for the weight as Glass is pretty heavy. The 55" is 23kg as per Sky's documentation:

Invision® Double Arm TV Wall... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AYB3MD6

What's particular good about it is that you can mount the plate from the Sky Glass stand to the front plate of this bracket, rather than having to use the ungainly X arms supplied.  So when you've fixed it to the wall, you can "just" lift the Glass on the same way as mounting it on the free-standing stand, then put the 4 hex bolts in.

I say "just" because it's a heavy piece of kit and ideally it's a 3-person job, two to hold it while the third does up the bolts.

We did this just yesterday.  There's a limited amount of tilt available, but the bracket seems to be solid and allows you to move in and out and side to side.

We couldn't mount flat to the wall because we gave wall-mouhted furniture it has to fit with.
