Yahoo sky email app on android

My yahoo email app constantly syncs and hardly any emails are coming through when lots used to. Everytime I do receive one it starts syncing and won't stop. I have to force stop several times. I have tried uninstalling and installing it again.  What is more concerning even on the laptop the emails have stopped coming through with only 2 received in the last 24 hours. I have looked at the reviews snd everyone is complaining but the app either doesn't work anymore and there is no alternative or something wrong with sky email. I am loath to change but need to have email available. Anyone else suffering eith this problem?

Are you tried using the Outlook email instead on your Android instead ?

On your laptop how do you access your emails, do you login to the Sky website and if you do have you checked that these emails are not going to the trash or spam folders in error ?
