hi @dunn-kevinn

I have moved your post onto the main one discussing the disappearance of the TV guide on PCs etc - as you will see from the post  marked an answer, unfortunately, it has been discontinued

Re: TV Guide on PC

@dunn-kevinn  As annoying as it is about Sky removing their online EPG, there are other EPGs available. If you look through this thread, you will see links to them. Personally, I have opted for RadioTimes.com. I have been using it for over a week now & it's fine, does the job. Someone did mention that it has ads & pop-ups, but, if like me, you have an ad-blocker, that won't be an issue.

Oh nice one Sky, put the price up year after year, but take away one of the most useful webpages, which I suspect costs peanuts to keep maintained.. 🙄

Bad move guys!

Seems as though Sky are help bent on losing customers (and being very succesful at it if the reported viewer numbers are correct).

In my case they've partially disabled my Sky+HD box  (I can no longer use the catch-up service -I can download but then not view or delete!!). THey did offer a free upgrade to SkyQ but couldn't guarantee the satellite units (Miniboxes) would work. Could even trial it. And art some undisclosed time they're going to switch the whole service off.

They've been watching the John Cleese video "How to kill your business by **bleep**ing off your Customers" too seriously.

Thanks for the tip - I'll give it a go.

I did spend a long time with various technicians from Sky going through various levels of reset ultimately a Full Hard Reset. My whole problem arose when my HDD failed and I bought a refurbished replacement, registering, & pairing all went well but I ended with partially working solution.

Hi Kev

I work for a national radio station that runs a feature called what's on TV tonight, and I would use the Sky Guide to get the programme details. including mentioning shows from terestial tv I would cover Sky shows too (Sky Atlantic, Sky Witness & Sky Max)

But now that you have removed an essential tool I used on a daily basis, I will not plug Sky shows anymore. 👎🏼

Sky really don't like their Customers.

Utnever mind they'll soon be enjoying life without Customers (on the dole).

Thanks for the Info. Poor customer service from Sky, no PAYING customer consultation......so offer an alternative, links?

Good point there - 'paying'! Not too many friends I know without dodgy boxes.

@DaveB3  If you're asking for an alternative online EPG, I switched over to RadioTimes.com when Sky dropped their EPG & it's worked out well. Someone did complain on here about ads & pop-ups on that site, but I use an ad blocker,  so I don't have that issue. Give it a try.

Yet another downgrade from Sky. Prices go up and up, service goes down.
