SKY SPORTS APP PROBLEM WITH WATCHING LIVE SPORTS

I have the latest SKY SPORTS App on a fully up to date IPad Pro. I have SKY sports whih I can watch on my TV but not on the app.

When you use the app what is happening, so if you see an error message what does it say ?

Thanks for your reply. It is a mystery as I seem to go round in circles. I open the app click on the live sport I want to watch and then it asked me to open the app. Just now I tried live tennis and a couple of matches were okay then I tried a couple more ones said I need to be a subscriber and the other said video content not available. I can normally sort these things out but this is really frustrating me because it's so random and it's annoying as I sometimes haven't got access to the TV and want to use my iPad. Obviously any pointers you can give will be of help thank you and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello again. I have used NOW TV Which worked well. I then went back to the normal Sky Sports app and tried the same thing. the video stream loaded with the picture faded behind a black background. There were two messages on the screen the First was "subscribe to Sky Sports to watch live or stream on NOW"  the next message was highlighted in a blue box"open in our Sky Sports app"however this just returned me back to where I was so really confusing.  I often find that the problem is when I want to watch live football and I may get to see that tonight and I will try again and your suggestion for NOW TV and let you know. I will post a reply on the results if I'm able to this evening or come back to you as soon as possible. Appreciate your ongoing help.

@PG48 Ti make it clear, are you a NOW customer or a Sky TV ne as my suggestion about using Sky Go was based on the thought I believed you were a Sky TV subscriber as I don't believe Sky Go will wirj

Sorry I was doing too much multitasking on the move. I meant SKY Go not NOW TV. Apologies, Anyway, I tried last night to watch Live Football and nothing worked. Maybe I should phone Sky as I cannot find a way around it?

What using Sky Go you were asked to upgrade, if so is your account linked as per this:

I take it you can access all the sports channels via your Sky TV service ?

I checked my details and all is linked ok. When I got the message go to app, it linked to the App Store and thne pressing OPEN, it came back but to SKY TV Web but it seems to be working now and I have tripled checked it with LIVE events. Hope it will continue that way. Thank you I appreciate all your efforts and prompt reply and looks like I got there in the end! All the best
