Are you using a VPN or if you have an iphone, the private relay function because if you are using either of them try disabling them, that apart what phone do you have ?

My Sky and Sky VIP apps will not load—-error message says I am out of the country! Not so!
Second try:
I cannot load My Sky or SKY VIP apps. Error message says I am out of the country or region. Not correct; I am in the UK.
Am not using a VPN.
Have tried on four I-devices and get the same error message. Also, have tried seven phone numbers for Sky Customer Support. All answer "welcome to Sky".....then disconnect.
Not sure why you posted this again so you post here has been added to the you previously posted on this issue so you can answer the question that was asked.

Give this a try if this isn't what you did already:
On your iphone 17 - Open Settings > [Your Name/Apple Account] > Media & Purchases.Tap View Account and sign in.Tap Country/Region and ensure it is set to the United Kingdom. Make sure your billing details and payment details are UK based.

Good thought...thank you. A little while ago I was finally able to get a person on the line at Sky. They had me do exactly as you suggested. When I got into changing the setting a message appeared that said if I made the change it would cancel my Apple Care+ package. (I have Apple Care+ because I bought an iMac for when I am in the U.S.) Cannot fathom what that that has to do with changing the location since I am able to call Apple from here and get help if I have a tech problem with my devices. Frustrating!

No idea on that so you might want to ask Apple about this because if the app store is set to the USA then that would explain why you are seeing the message when trying to access the MySky app.

I changed the language/region setting before I tried to download the app. The AppleCare+ message did not appear then. Only when I tried to change it with via Sky/your instructions. Seems quite curious. I will call Apple.
