Blank Page on My Sky App

Hi there, 

 

First time on here! 

I've been a customer for 18 years...but getting very frustrated by not being able to access the MySky app for about 2 weeks...I've tried phone updates/reinstalling/power downs/private relays... I'm getting really annoyed!! Does anyone have any advice/ideas?? Really don't want to phone up and have an argument!

Just had a message from the developers a fix has been issued. And they seem to be right. I downloaded again from the App Store and it is now all up and running

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

I have the same problem. Have tried uninstalling and reloading app but still the same blank page appears

Can you provide some more information on this problem please?

 

What device are you using?

What is the operating system version of the device?

Where do you see the blank screen? (ie as soon as the app opens; or when you go to sign into the app; or when you go to a particular part of the app)

Does the problem happen on mobile data?

Does the problem happen on WiFi?

Has it worked before? If so, when do you think it stopped working?

Does the problem happen on mobile data? Yes

Does the problem happen on WiFi? Yes

Has it worked before? If so, when do you think it stopped working? Yes it stopped working over the weekend

What is the operating system version of the device? 16.3.1

Where do you see the blank screen?  in Sky VIP > Unmissable prizes as I see small red lettering stating "Sorry your request is not valid" and Shows & Attractions/Find rewards right up your Street - Oops, Something went wrong we can not verify your account.

Does the problem happen on mobile data? - Yes

Does the problem happen on Wifi? - Yes

Has it worked before? If so, when do you think it stopped working? - Sometime last week,

 

A reboot of the phone fixes it until the next day.

I see the original poster stated that un-install/re-install didn't work - is that the same for you both?

Had you had any updates for your devices?

 

It's odd that you both experience the issue in two different areas.

Yea deleted app and reinstalled several times, no joy. 
no updates to my phone either.

 Tried to call sky who told me it's a known issue but couldn't help

Me too - cant seem tof find any part of sky website or service that can help.  

 

I've downloaded and cleared it several times - I've tried calling but was told that Sky doesn't have any recorded issuse so must be my phone ..
