unable to access sky mail from new Android

Hi, I can access my sky email from the main web login on the Sky page and was able to easily access email from my previous  pnone.  However I have just changed to a new android phone and cant access email,  through neither through the email App nor Outlook.

Outlook keeps showing error and the Android email app says I need an 'App Password' but it is not the usualy sky mail password.  I seem to be going around in circles.  Help seems to be saying I need to generate a new 'App Password' but Ive been unable to find out how to do this - Can you please help?  I cant see anything under security settings, thank you

When setting your email account up, try selecting Yahoo as the email provider then see if you can use your usual password as it is no longer possible to generate an app password.

What make of phone do you have?

Many (most?) Android phones have Gmail as the default app, and for some reason it won't work with Sky|Yahoo without an app password.

Almost all other Android email apps will work with Sky|Yahoo emails, but may (as @caesarome says) need you to select the account type as Yahoo.
