When I open up my emails, on a number of occasions, my emails left from the previous day/days (but read) just dissapear. It is anoying because I can't remember everything I still wished to look more into or just wanted to look at again.

There are possible reasons for what you are seeing, however just what they may be in your case will depend on two things, just how you are viewing your email (app or webpage) and if you are viewing on more that one device.
