Unable to open some email on a daily basis

I regularly cannot open some emails on a daily basis. The message I get each time is, 

"this message has not been downloaded from the server"

I have tried everything that has been suggested, but nothing seems to work. I've tried,

" switching iPad off and on "

"disconnecting my sky box and router and reconnecting "

I get this message at least 2-3 times per week. " CANNOT GET MAIL. The connection to the server failed.

On your iPad how do you access your emails, do you use the email app or do you login to the Sky website ?

Hi,

 

I use the email app on my screen on my iPad.

Believe it or not, I cannot open your email response you sent yesterday because  my iPad states

this message has not been downloaded from the server" !!!!!

We have always used access to the emails this way, my whole family have apple iPads and they access their emails the same way, but none of them have the same problem.

Intermittent problems with Apple's Mail app such as the issue you're having have been reported here over many months. You might wish to consider using a different email app or access your email via sky.com until Apple get round to fixing their Mail app, if,they ever do.

Try installing something like the Outlook app and using that instead.
