I use two email accounts one sky and the other gmail. I get my emails through a windows desktop laptop running windows 11. The mail from gmail is fine but most of the sky emails are unreadable with loads of script. I can read these emails on the sky website but not through my email client. My wife has sky as well and hers are fine, i even got here to send me an email and they come through fine. I have uninstalled sky email and reinstalled it, generated a password checked the date and time but nothing seems to fix it. Anyone got any ideas or fixes Please

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe fact that emails are presented ok via the website suggests it's a client issue or setting. Sky emails I receive via Outlook on my desktop and via my email clients on Android are fine.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@caesarome Looking at the OPs post I'm guessing it's the default mail app on windows 11, which is poor compared to the likes of Office 365, Thunderbird etc.

cant understand why it was working before and not now and why is it only some emails and not others. ive used it a long time dont really want to change it, not very i.t. savvy

Just try re-adding the Sky account to the Windows Mail app.

yes same issue here

Hi, I have the same problem, started over the weekend, only some emails affected, the majority are OK. Using the Mail App in Win 10 and have been for years. Haven't made any changes to any progs, wonder if it is being caused by a Update.
