My sky mail box has locked me out, it says they've encountered a problem with my account

You need to call the number shown and hope you get through to someone who knows how to unlock your account.

Are you also a Sky TV or Broafband customer, if so when you call just tell them that your Sky account has been locked, so not mention the email account.
