Sent email history vanished

When logging on to my emails this morning, I noticed that the last email received was showing as 2024, and a huge amount of emails have just vanished. All of my email sent history for the last 3 years has also gone. I have changed my password in case anything dodgy is going on, and requested a bulk restore via yahoo for the deleted in box, but it doesn't seem possible for the sent history. I have also uninstalled the app in case the issue was there to do with syncing, but it is showing the same when I log in from my browser. Stuck in the usual loop with the sky bott when trying to get some help 😞

@clairebear1980

There is little point in calling Sky as they will tell you to call Yahoo who also will not be able to help as you have a Sky account.

Have a read of this as it might be worth a try:

Re: Sent email history vanished

Thank you, I have read that and completed the restore request which seems to have helped with missing emails in my inbox, .but unfortunately it doesn't apply to the 3 years which have gone missing from my sent folder 😞

Then they are gone for good I'm afraid as sadly this does seem to happen with Yahoo hence then having the restore option.

You might want to give some though to setting up an email address somewhere else where they will be more secure, Gmail (Google) and Outlook.com (Microsoft) are two such providers.
