Just received email stating 'We will be closing all of our old Sky Email versions on October 13th 2023'
Given that the date shown is a Friday and the senders email address is 'Sky Feed Back' with a very unusual email address attached so I am wondering if this is a scam message.
Full message:
Dear Mail User
We will be closing all of our old Sky Email versions on October 13th, 2023 Based on the information we have in our records, your Sky account has not been upgraded to our new version.
Click on the account revalidated button to continue receiving all mail on hold
Update Now [content removed]
To log in, you'll need your Sky ID. This is usually your email address.
Can anyone confirm the validity?
Moderator note: spurious link removed

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe key thing to remember here is that Sky would not send you an email out of the blue asking you to click through it to update something. The link itself isn't from Sky otherwise it would have sky.com in it and that one doesn't.
