PASSWORD GENERATOR

I had to reinstall windows and now trying to set up the Sky email in Outlook.  

Previously had to get a 16 digit password from the sky password generator but every time i try to get on it says 'Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong. Please check your connection and try again later.'  

This has been going on for 3 weeks now.

An i doing something wrong or has the system changed?

Any advise will be most appreciated.

What version of Outlook are you trying to use?

The latest version, New Outlook desn't require a generated password, only Classic Outlook does.

The password generator is working O.K. for me, so try clearing cache/cookies in your browser, or use a different browser and try again.

Yes. Tried both. Not even working when i try on my mobile.

I've tried it myself, and am getting the same error.

It may be a temporary error, or possibly Sky have decided to remove the facility.

It may be worth you using the New Outlook whilst waiting for the generator to start working,

Looks like they've withdrawn facility to get email app passwords!
