I have been using Outlook with Sky email for years but for the last couple of days (since 31-May-2022), my Outlook (ver 2205; O365) has not been sending or receiving to Sky email.
I have verified my account details and can log on via a browsed with no issues, but still get the errors:
Sending: reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your email server rejected your login"
and
Receiving: reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your email server rejected your login
I've also checked the mail settings, changing between imap and pop, and created a new email acocunt, but still get the error.
does anyone know what this problem is?

See Sky's help here. Almost certainly you need to use a generated password in your Outlook settings, for both sending and receiving, rather than your normal Sky password.
There's a link to the password generator in the help guide.
