I used Outlook and when I have SPAM email, I was able to log into my Sky / Yahoo online account and select all the SPAM email and select "block / Unsubscribe" option. About a week ago this option has now disappeared so i can only delete SPAM which obviously keeps coming back. Any idea why this has changed?

Thanks but it must be something to do with Yahoo. I can unsubscribe / block from emails in my inbox, deleted etc but anything in spam does not have the function anymore.

Like Redruth+Man, I too can't block spam messages. The layout of actions has changed and omit a lot of useful items. The view of drop down menu which jayach shows, no longer exists.
It was also previously easy to insert a blue dot in front of message which shows it as "unread"; I use that "dot" to indicate a series of emails I am referring to. This can be 10 or 12 items. I have also lost the facility of being able to scroll down thro ALL my current/old emails, and am now limited to about 40 items per page.
Life has become difficult, which is not fun for an oldie, who doesn't want to fall off his perch just yet.
Perhaps some kind person can point me in the right direction.

I would definately start by trying a different browser.

Thanks done all of this already. Just must be a new yahoo feature and now just deleting spam as opposed to blocking.

@Redruth+Man I've had the same issue - when I go through to look at the additional settings, I currently have 1000 email addresses in the block list - with it being a nice round number it would make sense that this is a block limit. I'm going to try unblocking some of the older addresses and see if that allows me to block again...

I never had a reply from Sky or Yahoo, and have some 15-20 spam emails in Outlook Junk file every day now.

@Redruth+Man I've tried it out and it works - so it looks like there IS a block limit. Via PC (don't think it's available on a phone) go to Settings -> More Settings -> Privacy -> Blocked (sorry, can't remember the exact name). Click the delete icon next to addresses in your block list and it'll free up space. Then if you return to Spam and use the usual options, Block should be available for use again.

Blocking spam is completely pointless, and unsubscribing is even worse, all that does is confirm to the spammer's that they have a "live" address.
As long as they are going to junk, that is the best you can hope for.

It happened to me....If your Blocked Spam folder reaches 1000 enties, then you loose the option to block further emails. Just delete a few and the option comes back.
