No Content in emails just header information

Hi,

my emails are downloading to my mobile(Yahoo mail on Android), and my laptop(Outlook 10), and I can see them by logging onto yahoo mail via a browser, but there is no content within the email(whichever method I try to view them), they're blank, except for the header information, i.e. Subject, Sender, Recipients. My hubby, who's email address is a sky.com one, is cc'd within the emails and they are ok for him.

It appears to have started on the 4th April 2022, the first one came through ok, but then the rest are blank, they have resent them today and they're still coming through blank.

Any ideas as to what is going on, and how to fix it?

I'm not clear on where or what device you are having issues with, is it via your web browser by logging into Sky.com or the Yahoo email app ?

Re: No Content in emails just header information

Hi  @caesarome,

I'm having the same problem with all the following options:

via browser by logging into Sky.com and navigating to YahooMail

via the YahooMail app on my Android phone

via Microsoft Outlook 10

My husband, who was cc'd in the emails, used my laptop,  logged into Sky.com and navigated to YahooMail, and he didnt have a problem.

Re: No Content in emails just header information

This has been happening for a while now. Sometimes I get a full email and sometimes just the header. There appears to be no pattern to it, I'm not that clever with technology however I'm using email on a Mac via the Yahoo server. Any suggestions please?

Cheers

Same problem, showing email headed but no content. Also can't login on any new devices at all. Sky email has become completely useless now.

What's the error message when you try to log in via sky.com using your browser?

Re: No Content in emails just header information

If you try to login in on a new devices it says can't access right now try again in 1hr, however never works. All other pc devices and browsers can't get past the login page.
this is not user error as many sky email users are having the same struggles.

@KH11111111

The "wait 1 Hour" problem has been happening for some time,

If you set it up manually, using the following settings, from @caesarome it should work.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

You will then need to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of your usual one, you can do that here:

It should also work in any browser, using your email address and password. If it doesn't, what error do you get?
