Missing sky.com email password

Hi. I have recently signed up to Sky again and am trying to link an old sky.com email address to my Sky account. Unfortunately, I don't know the password for this email address (although it works fine on my phone email app). If I try and reset the password, it fires off a code to an old email address that I no longer have access to.

Sky customer support advised creating a new email account and using that, but I really would like to retain access to my old sky.com email and use it as my primary Sky account.

I have seen another poster on here with the same issue and it was resolved through the escalation chat - so I am hoping this can be sorted out! 🙂

I'm not sure that will be possible as Sky doesn't usually allow Sky email addresses to be used as the household/recovery email address.

It should be sending a verification code to a mobile number and not an email address so is this not happening, if not you will have to speak to Sky again to see if they can help you to get access to it.
