Microsoft Mail not displaying emails correctly, seeing html code only

I have Microsoft Mail on my PC with 2 email accounts set up; 1 sky and 1 non-sky.

I've just been asked by a website to reset my password by sending email reset link. The email only shows htmp code for the sky account but ok for the non-sky account in the same Microsoft mail app. This doesn't happen for all emails but in this instance is from bbc.co.uk a recognised website.

What needs changing to make this work?

Many thanks,

D

Assuming you mean Windows 10/11 Mail, there is nothing you can do to change it, it's a known current problem with Windows 10/11 Mail.

You can see the correct formatting for your email here: https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email

Windows Mail? Yes it's a known problem. There's  nothing you can do to make it display correctly. Awaiting a solution, from Microsoft.

Thanks.

Is there any timeframe on fixing this or is it worth switching to a different email platform?

Regards,

It is up to Microsoft to fix it so you guess is as good as anybodies...

You could try Thunderbird on your PC.
