I keep getting a synching email message all the time when opening my android phone up can I get rid

How do i stop my android phone synching my yahoo mail all the time I've not had this for a while but itvis becoming annoying now

Are you using the email app on your android phone ?

Yes I have the email app on my phone and how can I stop the app from running if I did that would I still get my emails from Yahoo

There might be a setting that you can change to set it to check for a new mails after a 5 minutes or so, so have you checked within the app to see if you can see anything ?

I'm having the same problem with each time an email msg is sent or received on my android phone now getting a "Syncing email ...." notification, which if click just hangs with blue wheel of death over the email app.

Never had this previously, so any suggestions please?
