Have deleted my sky/yahoo account as unable to access this with two step verification code

Was unable to access my sky/yahoo email account and was advised to delete it. Still unable to access it as the two step verification code is being sent to the deleted account. Can't reset recovery etc as o have to pass the two step verification code!!!

Not quite sure what you have done or what you mean by you have deleted your account so how do you access your emails, via an app on a mobile phone or by logging into the Sky website ?

The verification code will be sent to the mobile number you have provided and should be shown on screen.

Who advised you to delete it, or do you mean you removed it from an app/client?

2FA verification codes do not go to emails, they go to phone numbers.

I'm guessing it's a OTP for a password reset, not a 2 step login Verification Code.
