Hackers and email account
Hello everyone.
Been a sky customer for many years. This last month though has been shocking.
Now had my sky account hacked twice. They changed my surname, the phone number by one digit. And thrn they change the email address Altogether.
So I could not access my sky emails etc. They have also tinkered on my apps like Disney Netflix etc. Ringing sky about this is hard work. To top it all off my sky q decided to go down for 10 days and was fixed yesterday, so happy now but today my sky email account and my sky has been hacked again. Got that sorted through the help of a good friend.
But today I have had enough and ibhave cancelled my sky account and they let me come out of my current contract I had 6 months left as the bloke at retentions could. See all the aggro I have had.
Just want you all to be aware of the hackers and the stress it does cause. Please be careful.

Re: Hackers and email account
Sorry to hear this. From my forum experience it's unusual for a Sky Yahoo Mail account to be hacked. More often, the accountholder unwittingly gives away their login details by clicking on a fraudulent link in a scam email urging you to verify or update your details. The link opens a non-genuine, but authentic looking login page which just captures the username and password you enter.
