Encountered a problem

I reset my sky yahoo password yesterday was all working ok now I'm getting a message 

Account problem

We apologise for the inconvenience, but we have encountered a problem with your account.
Please contact ...for further assistance.

 

I get past 2 step verification but can't get past this, I called them & they said clear caches etc and wait an hour but still not working

You will need to call them again about this as sadly this does happen but the issue you will have (as this has happened to me a few years back) is getting through to someone who knows how to unlock your account. So when you call up again do not mention that your email account is locked instead just mention your Sky account. It took me 3 calls to get mine unlocked as my email and Sky account were locked.

Thank you, yes the person I spoke to was not particularly helpful just kept asking me to reset my password when I couldn't access the link in the email, I sincerely hope I haven't lost everything

You should not have lost anything as what might have happened is that your account has been locked for some reason, they told me when it happened to my account that it was for security reasons.
