Emails prior to 2019 have disappearedI

I have no emails before 2019 showing in my account and I urgently need to find some from an earlier year. I have not deleted them and my archive folder is empty. 
what can I do?

Unfortunately, if it doesn't restore the missing emails, they're gone for good unless you kept a backup copy.

If they can't be restored then are there any copies along with your replies in the Sent folder ?
