Re: Email scam?
No, not to my knowledge, unless I was auto registered?

Re: Email scam?
The web page looks ok, but if it were me, I'd be inclined to ignore it if you haven't specifically registered.

Re: Email scam?
It might be that somebody else has register with Sky Wifi but has made a mistake in entering their email address so you have ended up with it instead, this does happen !

Re: Email scam?
Yes, that's a possibility. I'll not be clicking on it.

Re: Email scam?
This email has just come through to my daughters phone to but it's been with me most of the day as she is revising. She hadn't signed up for anything. Surely this is a scam?

Re: Email scam?
It could well be but just delete it then there is no harm done.

Re: Email scam?
I too received such an email but didn't notice until the day after. The timestamp was when I was in a pub of the Vintage Inn chain and trying to get onto the guest wifi. I've just looked at Vintage Inns website and it says:
"Once you have located ‘Guest Wi-Fi’ just click on it and follow the on-screen prompts to connect. You’ll need to register to use Sky Wi-Fi, you can also opt in to receive marketing from us so we can tell you about all our cool deals and promotions!"
Irritatingly, when I signed up for the guest wi-fi, I saw no indication that it was Sky Wi-fi and that I would be getting an email to verify my email address. But, in my case at least, the email was unexpected but legitimate and intended for me.
