Email hacked

Hi as my email has been hacked I would like to delete my email account how can I do this ?

@Mal36 you could call Sky and ask them to delete it but past experience from the forum indicates that you'll be lucky to find a Sky adviser who knows how to achieve that. Or you could simply stop logging in and in 12 months or so it should be deleted automatically.

You email account hasn't been hacked but what might have happened is that someone has got access due to somebody responding to either a fake email or phone call and has given the scammer the login details.

Sky does have a process for deleting accounts but your issue will be finding someone who knows how to do this. Otherwise they do delete accounts if they have not been logged into for quite a while which is now a year I believe.

Many thanks for your replies , I have already contacted sky and they was as good as a wet lettuce so will do what you have suggested and not use it now
