Discussion topic: Cant send emails to GMAIL user

I cannot send emails to my daughter who uses gmail. I get an error message that says:

Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

<XXXXXXXX> where XXXXX is my daughters address:

550: 5.7.1 [77.238.179.187 12] Gmail has detected that this message is

5.7.1 likely unsolicited mail. To reduce the amount of spam sent to Gmail,

5.7.1 this message has been blocked. For more information, go to

5.7.1 [URL removed] ffacd0b85a97d-4815a5c1f35si4030990f8f.282 - gsmtp

Clicking on the links it tells me I need to set up authentication using SPF, DKIM and DMARC. I have no clue how to set this up.

Any help gratefully received.

How do you access your Sky emails, do you login to the Sky website or something like Outlook ?

You can't do that, only the email administrator can.

However, as no one else is complaining, there is probably nothing wrong with the Sky/Yahoo settings so do you use any form of redirection service?

Hi, not for outgoing mail so it shouldnt be affected by any restrictions.

Your error mssage is just Yahoo's SMTP server saying Gmail's SMTP server refused to accept the email, doesn't really give any more details.

Could you login via here:: https://sky.com/signin/email/ (if you don't already do so) and send a short message with a simple sublect title, and see if that goes.

Same result and my other daughter uses GMAIL as well and I get the same result

I'm able to send to Gmail with no problem, so It's not a general problem with Sky|Yahoo, so it must be something specific to your setup.

How are you using your Email, on a desktop PC? Are you using a VPN? Do you have a mobile?
