Cannot receive email from one of my contacts

One of my contacts has tried numerous occassions to send an email with an attachment but each time they receive undeliverable message.  I last received an email from them on 3rd Jan 2024.  Help please.

What is the reason given in the bounce message the sender receives, as to why it's undeliverable?

Hi Mark  thanks for your reply I dont know they just said undeliverable.  I will contact them and ask.

All the bounce back said was

email undeliverable

recipient email didnt respond

Do they happen to be using a Hotmail/Outlook email account? It seems from previous posts that Sky/Yahoo are blocking emails from those providers?

Or are you using the Apple Mail client which is known to be having intermittent problems with incoming and outgoing Sky Yahoo Mail emails?

Hi Mark, Yes they use Outlook but they always have done!  Its my mums carehome and they need to be able to contact me as they have done previously.  Why has this happened since 6th Jan 2024?

I don't know, I'm afraid. I can only suggest reporting it to Sky.

However, I'm bound to forewarn you that you might struggle to find an adviser who knows much about Sky Yahoo Mail (sorry).
