Cannot open my Sky Yahoo emails on Amazon Fire tablet

I am trying to access my Sky Yahoo email system on my Amazon Fire Tablet.

I can select Emails, I can enter my email address, I can enter my password. I can click on Next, but then the message comes up that I have entered the wrong email address or password.  How can I make this work ?

When using my Asus Laptop I enter a four figure pin to open up the laptop, then right click on Emails. This then opens up the Sky Yahoo email programme, and automacically enters my Email Address followed by my Sky Yahoo Email password. Then the Sky Yahoo Email system opens up with all the usual Email boxes. Input, sent, Drafts, Deleted, etc.

How can I do this with the Amazon Fire Tablet?

I can open Sky Yahoo emails using my Asus laptop or my mobile phone, which is a Samsung  smart phone. But I cannot access my emails on my Am azon Fire tablet. This is what I am trying to do.

@Carey+Moore I got that from your first post.

I was trying to work out how you're attempting to access your Sky Yahoo Mail via your tablet. That's either via an app, or via your tablet's browser. You would use the link in my previous post to gain access via your browser.

If you're using an email app of some sort, you may need to use an app password in place of your normal Sky password. You can find a link to the app password generator in Sky's help guide here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/problems-accessing-sky-mail-from-your-email-app under 'what you need to do'.

If so select the account type as Yahoo.

Edit: I've just tried it on my rather ancient Fire tablet, and it worked fine.

I suggest you select "Maybe later" when asked if you want to set up two-step verification.

If you're using an email app:
When setting up the account did you use the Yahoo option or Other/manual?
Chances are you require an app specific password which is used instead of the account password.
