Accessing email account

A few days ago my daughter tried to access her sky.com email account but had a message to say it was locked. I spoke to someone on Friday who said that the account was now unlocked but she was then getting a message to say that there was a problem with the account.

Today I spoke to someone again and was told that all sky.com email were being closed and we would have had an email about this. She would have to set up a new email address.  Neither of us have recieved and email to state this and I can not find anything on the website or online to say all sky.com email addresses are being closed.  I was then told mine would be closed in the next couple of days.

has anyone received the communication about these account being closed or know what the process is for accessing emails on the account as my daughter now finds herself in an issue where she needs information from there for work and university

@angshake It's the second time I've seen reports of an adviser saying that Sky Yahoo Mail accounts are being closed.  So far as I'm aware, there's no truth in it whatsoever, so I assume the adviser has got the wrong end of the stick somewhere.

Is your daughter trying to access her email by logging on to sky.com via a browser? Or is she using an email app? Try clearing the browser cache, or logging in using the browser's privacy/incognito mode, or trying another browser.

If they are going to close all Sky email accounts (which I doubt) there will be a lot of angry people.

Is she able to log in here, as she may be able to recover it herself.
