2 step verification

i have tried to log in to my email, but it is saying there is now 2 step verification which i didnt set up, and it is sending a code to a mobile number i dont know! 

i tried to call sky on friday who said they had changed the telephone number for me but they havent.

it logs me into my sky account so i can access the profile and the manage 2 step verification, i was hoping to turn off or change the telephone number but it just sends a code again for the 2 step verification to this random number 

help please...

Are you saying you can get the 2FA code when signing into your Sky account, but not when signing into email?

Do you use your sky email address for signing into both?

@SK85 if there's no change telephone number link on the log in page, you'll have to call Sky again, I'm afraid.

It sounds as though they've changed your humber on your Sky profile but not your Sky Yahoo Mail mobile number.

no i cant get on either. it signs me into sky account without 2 step verrification but then when i go to change anything it does the 2 step verification but to a wrong number

Two step verification has been turned on for us for a few months now so it should be going to the number that is shown here:

 when i go there it doesnt have a number just

About you: id name and email addres

then login and security. if i click on manage 2 step verification there it then says its sending code

if i go on profile it has a landline number not a mobile. if i click on edit contact number it asks me to do 2 step verification again

Confusing, I cant sign into my Sky account without 2FA.

Are you signing in here: https://id.sky.com/
